Open innovation

National project, with the active participation of Bondalti. Its mission is to bring the knowledge produced by national researchers in different areas of knowledge to the general public, with particular emphasis on drinking water, ocean economy, biodiversity and engineering.

Bondalti has established protocols with various Portuguese universities to host curricular internships for undergraduate, masters and PhD students.  In addition, protocols were signed with the Higher Technical Institute and the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto for the annual awarding of grants to disadvantaged students and prizes to the most outstanding. These monetary awards are presented in partnership with the Amélia de Mello Foundation.

Bondalti was one of the founders of HyLAB - Collaborative Laboratory for Green Hydrogen, a network of skills in R&D and new technologies that aims for the scientific and technological development of Green Hydrogen. Bondalti also actively participates in numerous sector associations, in order to build knowledge, through interactions and joint projects. 

Bondalti is part of the Grow programme, linked to the subsidiary companies of the José de Mello Group and created to strengthen the connection with the start-up ecosystem, supporting and accelerating the development of innovative projects. Through Grow, a selected set of start-ups have access to the Group’s unique knowledge, experience and infrastructures and that of its subsidiary companies, where they develop joint pilot projects, testing and adapting products and services in a real market environment.
