Bondalti debates the future of hydrogen
João de Mello, Chairman of the Board of Bondalti, participated in the High-Level Conference “Hydrogen in Society – Bridging the Gaps”, promoted by the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The online conference was held on April 7 and aimed to highlight the key role of hydrogen in advancing European energy systems towards a decarbonized society.
The opening session was held by the Minister for the Environment and Energy Transition, João Pedro Matos Fernandes, and Kadri Simson, European Commissioner for Energy. Speakers included high-level representatives of the governments of the Member States and the European Commission, as well as heads of companies and regulatory bodies.
João de Mello spoke at the panel “Hydrogen in decarbonization sectors of the economy”. A subject that is in line with Bondalti's commitment to creating an innovative and sustainable chemistry, which looks at hydrogen production as an opportunity to increase advanced, intelligent, and efficient technologies, with low environmental impact, guiding the company towards more qualified products and with greater added value.
