Bondalti donates 90 tons of sodium hypochlorite

Bondalti will provide, free of charge, five tons of sodium hypochlorite to each of the Portuguese district capitals, for urban cleaning and disinfection operations across the country.

The sodium hypochlorite, which Bondalti produces and supplies, is an important hygiene and disinfection agent, and a strong ally in the current context of controlling the spread of the new coronavirus.

This product – which, when very diluted, is nothing less than our well-known bleach – is being used by cities all over the world to disinfect streets and public spaces.

In Portugal, Bondalti has already supplied the Municipality of Estarreja, where its factory is located. Now, aware of the exceptional moment we are experiencing, and in order to participate in the common effort to fight the pandemic, the compaby donates five tons of undiluted sodium hypochlorite for each Portuguese district capital, in a total of 90 tons.

Also, in Spain, Bondalti already offered sodium hypochlorite to 13 entities in Cantabria, all in the geographical proximity of its industrial unit, among which the town hall of Polanco and Santillana del Mar, as well as the Regional Government.

The sodium hypochlorite supplied by Bondalti is then diluted and applied with high pressure guns, to disinfect streets and public areas.
