Bondalti formalises the acquisition of AEMA

Bondalti's chairman was in Spain recently to finalise the deal agreed in mid-May.

Bondalti’s acquisition of the AEMA Group, a company specialising in water treatment, was formalised during a visit by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, João de Mello, to Alfaro (in La Rioja, Spain). The visit also included meetings with the local and regional authorities.

The ceremony for formalisation of the acquisition was attended by the local mayor, Julián Jimenez Velilla, the general director of AEMA, Víctor Navajas, and other managers from both companies.

"We have united two families, in order to continue working with competence and quality", with the aim of "being the benchmark company in the water sector in the Iberian Peninsula", said João de Mello.

Before visiting the company’s facilities, which has 140 employees, Víctor Navajas highlighted the capacity for growth that the AEMA Group will have from now on, targeting the European market as well as the Iberian market.

As part of this trip, a leadership committee from AEMA and Bondalti also met with the president of the regional government of La Rioja, Concha Andreu, and members of her team, to present the ambitious joint project in the water and environment sector.
