Bondalti joins the hydrogen summer school

For four days, Porto will host a summer school whose central theme will be hydrogen, leading to a debate on the countless opportunities that the most abundant element on the planet can generate for the urgent energy transition.

The sharing of scientific knowledge about hydrogen production technologies and how it can play a key role in the energy transition are the central axes of the second edition of the "International H2 Summer School", an initiative that will take place between the 5th and 8th of September at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP).

Aware of the important contribution it can make in this field, through the knowledge acquired in the production of hydrogen over decades, Bondalti joined the initiative as a sponsor. The company's participation will also include the presence of the project manager, José Nogueira, in a round table that will take place on the last day of the event, under the theme “The Age of Hydrogen”.

During the four days, the participants of the “H2 Summer School” will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge in areas as fundamental as electrochemistry, as well as visit the FEUP laboratories during the “Lab Open Day”.

The event will feature the intervention of several renowned national and international personalities, from the scientific, business and political areas, and will have a hybrid format of assistance (in person or online).

Bondalti is strongly committed to contributing to the development of large-scale projects related to green hydrogen and to the decarbonisation of the economy in general, within the framework of the search for more sustainable development models that generate a positive impact on society as a whole.
