Bondalti participates in the José de Mello Group Volunteer Day

Support for the cause of the “Semear” program, focused on the integration of people with disabilities, was the motto for yet another highly participated volunteer action.

More than 130 people, including several Bondalti employees, 2800 plants that found a new space to grow and 2.5 tons of vegetables harvested. These are some of the figures from another José de Mello Group Volunteer Day, held in Oeiras, which demonstrate the vitality of this annual initiative.

This year's edition aimed to support the “Semear” program, which intends to promote the integration of people with disabilities, through professional training and adequate personal and social development. To this end, one of the aspects of the project is the cultivation and marketing of organic agricultural products, whose income goes to this cause.

Promoted with the support of the Amélia de Mello Foundation, the José de Mello Group's Volunteering Program is a transversal and common initiative to all the participating companies and is intended for the approximately 13 thousand employees of the Group. The objective is to continue the commitment to develop a socially responsible business performance in the present and in the future.
