CHEMISTRY GOLD MEDAL: CALL FOR NOMINATIONS IS OPEN

The EuChemS (European Chemical Society) will deliver another Gold Medal of European Chemistry, awarding the exceptional achievements of one scientist in this area. The call for nominations is open until September 30.

The European Chemistry Gold Medal is delivered every two years and the nominees must be scientists who have made outstanding contributions to the field of chemistry. This award is not meant to be for lifetime achievements, but rather for a research that have significantly advanced our understanding of a particular subject covering any area of ​​chemistry.

 

The nominees should be based in a country with a EuChemS member organisation, which includes Portugal, through the Portuguese Society of Chemistry and the Portuguese Society of Electrochemistry.

 

In addition to the gold medal, the winner will have the opportunity to give the opening lecture at the next EuChemS Chemistry Congress. All submissions are to be made through the online form available here.
