Commitment to excellence

Bondalti and the Amélia de Mello Foundation have once again awarded the best engineering students from the Faculty of Engineering of Porto (FEUP).

This year the awards ceremony took place during the FEUP Day Ceremony, which celebrated the 184-year history of engineering education in Porto. Students, teachers, researchers and technicians from this faculty were publicly awarded in a restricted event, as required by the sanitary rules regarding the pandemic, but which has been featured online and live through the FEUP TV channel.


João Fugas, director of Bondalti, presented the awards to the best students of the Integrated Masters in Chemical Engineering (Hugo da Silva Marques), Mechanical Engineering (Rui Martim Lopes Busto Salgado), Metallurgical and Materials Engineering (Hélder Joaquim Moreira Nunes), Engineering and Industrial Management (Inês Pereira Cabral Ribeiro), Engineering Informatics and Computing (Rui Pedro Moutinho Moreira Alves), Environmental Engineering (Inês Magalhães Rodrigues) and Degree in Mining Engineering and Geoenvironment (Inês Brandão Pereira Barros). FEUP was represented by its director, João Falcão e Cunha.


The delivery of these monetary awards by Bondalti, in collaboration with the Amélia de Mello Foundation, reinforces the company's conviction on the fundamental role of universities as key drivers of development and competitiveness, and its commitment to excellence.
