Get to know Bondalti’s new factory in Spain

The Torrelavega plant, in the Cantabria region, positions Bondalti as the main producer in the Chlor-Alcalis segment in the Iberian Peninsula.

With an installed capacity of 68,000 tonnes / year, this new facility, that represents a total investment of 60 million euros, focus on chlorine, caustic soda, hydrogen, hydrochloric acid and sodium hypochlorite production.

 

Located in one of the most important industrial parks in the Iberian Peninsula, owned by Solvay, this plant implements the most advanced production practices available, namely chlorine with membrane technology, which stands out for its high energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.

 

A factory that also positively impacts the small town of Torrelavega, as a result of the job creation, and that consolidates Bondalti’s growth strategy, positioning it as a truly international company.
