Electrodeionisation
Continuous electrodeionisation (EDI) is a water purification process that combines electrodialysis with selective membranes and ion-exchange resins.
This technology is commonly used to polish streams previously demineralised by membrane technologies, achieving the most demanding water qualities required in industrial activities such as high-pressure boiler feed in thermal power plants, and in the electronics, microelectronics, pharmaceutical and laboratory industries.
Electrodeionisation requires no chemical treatment, making it a clean alternative to conventional demineralisation with ion-exchange resins. We design, build and commission complete water treatment solutions that integrate continuous electrodeionisation technology.
